Change sink tap,air lock washing machine canisters

Description
The kitchen tap is leaking all time with noise. To avoid leaking in night we turned off main water supply to the tap by turning off switch under the kitchen sink. Next morning the toilet flush and washing machine doesn’t have water. Seems like airlock to me but not sure. We bought the kitchen tap so just need fitting. The leaking water is only coming from cold side. Based in Ballycullen Tallaght
